Urgent Hiring Accountant in Kuwait

About the Role

A reputed company in Kuwait is urgently looking for a qualified and experienced Accountant to join immediately. This position is suited for a professional who can manage all aspects of accounting independently, from daily transactions to periodic reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software, along with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
• Preparing financial statements, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial reports for management review
• Ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions and timely completion of month-end and year-end close procedures
• Coordinating with internal teams, external auditors, and government authorities to facilitate smooth financial audits and compliance
• Maintaining organized financial records and documentation in full compliance with Kuwaiti regulations and accounting standards
• Supporting budget preparation, variance analysis, and cost control initiatives as needed
• Handling vendor and client communications related to invoices, payments, and account queries

Required Qualifications

• Currently residing in Kuwait with a transferable Ahli Visa (No. 18 only)
• Minimum of two years experience in the accounting field; experience with Kuwaiti company accounts is preferred
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
• Demonstrated ability to handle accounts independently with minimal supervision
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail in financial record keeping
• Immediate availability for joining is strongly preferred given the urgent nature of this role
