About the Role
We are seeking a qualified PTW Coordinator to join our team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, reviewing, issuing, and monitoring Permit-to-Work systems while ensuring full compliance with HSE standards. This role involves conducting risk assessments, verifying site readiness, and controlling high-risk activities across construction and industrial environments. The position requires an immediate starter who can quickly integrate into our safety management framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor all aspects of the Permit-to-Work system across multiple sites
- Review and issue work permits ensuring compliance with HSE regulations
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for high-risk activities
- Verify site readiness and ensure all safety protocols are in place
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of permit activities
- Liaise with site teams to control and authorize hazardous work activities
- Provide guidance and support on PTW procedures to operational teams
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or other high-risk industries
- Relevant trade certification in safety or related field
- IOSH Managing Safely or OSHA 30 certification (or equivalent)
- GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) certification
- GWO Enhanced First Aid certification
- GWO Control of Hazardous Energies certification
- Strong knowledge of PTW systems and HSE compliance requirements
