About the Role
The Technical Operations Management Team Lead is a critical leadership position focused on ensuring the high availability, performance, and reliability of all digital platforms. This role involves leading the Site Reliability Engineering team to implement robust observability strategies and automation initiatives. The successful candidate will align technical capabilities with business objectives to maintain a seamless user experience across all digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the SRE team to implement effective monitoring and reliability practices across all digital channels.
- Govern the Dynatrace platform to ensure optimal utilization, standardization, and continuous improvement of observability.
- Define and evolve the observability strategy for applications, infrastructure, and digital platforms including mobile apps and websites.
- Drive automation initiatives such as auto-remediation and alert optimization to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
- Establish and enforce governance standards for incident management and conduct thorough root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and report on system performance, availability, and reliability metrics to identify potential bottlenecks.
- Ensure all operations comply with Information Security Management System policies and occupational health and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and technical operations management within a large-scale environment.
- Expertise in managing observability tools, specifically with deep knowledge of the Dynatrace platform.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage team workloads, priorities, and resource allocation effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to engineering team members.
- Experience in developing standardized dashboards, alerts, and business KPIs for complex digital services.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks and the ability to implement workflow automation for operational efficiency.
- Commitment to maintaining strict compliance with information security and corporate governance policies.
