Officer, Collections Payment Support Kuwait

About the Role

The Officer, Collections Payment Support plays a key role in ensuring timely recovery of overdue payments for Gulf Bank. Working within the collections team, you will coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to track, follow up and resolve outstanding balances. Your efforts directly support the bank’s liquidity and risk management objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the collections portfolio, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date status of all accounts.
• Coordinate with external collection agencies to execute recovery strategies and report on performance.
• Prepare and present regular reports on collection metrics, recovery rates and compliance to senior management.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes related to payment collections.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and audit standards.
• Collaborate with credit, legal and operations teams to streamline collection processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in collections, credit recovery or related banking functions.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing collections and debt recovery.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
