About the Role

As a Director of Structural Engineering & Technical Consultancy, you will lead and manage complex engineering projects while providing expert technical consultancy services. Your role involves overseeing the design, planning, and execution of structural engineering initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet technical and regulatory benchmarks. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of structural engineering principles to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage structural engineering and technical consultancy projects from concept to completion.
• Oversee project planning, design, and execution while maintaining engineering quality and compliance standards.
• Coordinate technical teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality assessments to verify adherence to engineering specifications.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations for clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural solutions with broader project requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements to enhance service delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in structural engineering or technical consultancy with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Expertise in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS) and proficiency in CAD tools.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements in Kuwait and the Gulf region.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and engage with clients effectively.
• Professional engineering license or certification (e.g., PE license) is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
