About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Fashion Merchandising & Apparel Expansion to lead our growth initiatives in Kuwait. This strategic role will oversee merchandising strategies, product development, and market expansion for our premium leather jacket fashion brand. The ideal candidate will drive our retail presence and enhance customer engagement across the Kuwait market while staying ahead of industry trends and fashion innovations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive merchandising strategies to drive sales and market growth in the Kuwait region
• Coordinate inventory planning, allocation, and product lifecycle management to optimize stock levels and minimize waste
• Lead product launch initiatives from concept to execution, ensuring timely market entry and maximum impact
• Manage retail operations and ensure excellent customer experience across all touchpoints
• Analyze market trends and consumer preferences to inform product development and merchandising decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and sales to achieve business objectives
• Monitor competitor activities and identify new market opportunities for expansion

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in fashion merchandising with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of successful product launches and inventory management in the fashion industry
• Deep understanding of the Kuwait fashion market, consumer preferences, and retail landscape
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and make data-driven decisions
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management abilities with experience in multicultural environments
• Proficiency in retail management software, merchandising tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
