About the Role
Gulf Bank is seeking an Associate for Early & Mid Collection in Al Asimah, Kuwait. This full-time position involves managing and recovering outstanding accounts within the early and mid stages of the collection process. The role focuses on effective communication with debtors, adherence to company policies, and ensuring timely recoveries. The ideal candidate will work in a dynamic environment supporting the bank's financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact debtors to negotiate payment plans and recover outstanding balances
- Monitor account statuses and escalate delinquent accounts as needed
- Document all interactions and maintain accurate records in the bank's system
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex collection cases
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Achieve monthly collection targets through proactive outreach
- Provide regular updates to supervisors on portfolio performance
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in collections preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic
- Basic understanding of financial regulations and banking operations
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Customer service orientation with empathy and persistence
- Valid Kuwaiti residence permit or willingness to relocate
