About the Role
EMCC is seeking an experienced Sushi Chef to join our culinary team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will prepare authentic Japanese cuisine while adhering to high hygiene standards and customer service excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh sushi, sashimi, and traditional Japanese dishes daily
- Source and maintain quality fish and seafood supplies
- Manage kitchen station organization and cleanliness standards
- Train junior staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols
- Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef in commercial kitchens
- Strong knowledge of Japanese culinary techniques and food safety practices
- Familiarity with sourcing fresh seafood and ingredient management
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
- Good communication skills in English and willingness to learn
- Immediate availability to join the team with work visa sponsorship
