About the Role
The Store Keeper will oversee the daily operations of a food products warehouse, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The role requires a blend of inventory expertise and team leadership to maintain high standards of stock control and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming food products in accordance with quality and safety standards.
- Manage inventory levels using established control systems, conducting regular stock checks and reconciliations.
- Coordinate the dispatch of goods to suppliers, customers, and internal departments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports on inventory movements, stock status, and discrepancies.
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Coordinate fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are available and schedules are met.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and stock management practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
- Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
- Leadership ability with experience managing a team.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Current residency in Kuwait and a valid Kuwaiti driving license with a personal vehicle.
