About the Role
As a Site Reliability Engineer at Zain Kuwait, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our digital services. This entry-level position involves proactive monitoring, basic incident response, documentation, and system analysis to maintain consistent digital operations. You'll also assist in implementing automation practices and disaster recovery activities under the guidance of senior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Enable and monitor application logs to track performance and diagnose issues proactively.
- Oversee system uptime, maintenance, and scaling to meet operational demands and business continuity requirements.
- Generate operational and functional reports to provide insights into system performance and departmental operations.
- Design, develop, and manage alerting systems using APM tools to promptly address issues and maintain system stability.
- Design, develop, and manage a centralized digital channels logs management system, ensuring its accessibility using APM tools to track end user behavior in backend and frontend systems.
- Develop and implement automated operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual workload.
- Apply and manage technical configurations to maintain system integrity and functionality.
- Manage and resolve customer care remedies and complaints, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Utilize JIRA Service Management to handle internal customer requests and issues, ensuring efficient workflow management.
Required Qualifications
- Intermediate-level skills in operating systems and infrastructure.
- Intermediate-level skills in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Intermediate-level background in networking.
- Intermediate-level skills in programming and development (JavaScript, React, React Native, etc.).
- Intermediate-level skills in SQL/PLSQL.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
