About the Role
This position involves leading international projects in the chemicals, membrane technologies, and filtration sectors from inception to delivery. The role requires technical expertise in these fields alongside strong cross-border management skills to handle stakeholder relationships, compliance, and project execution. Based in Kuwait, the Project Director will drive business development opportunities while ensuring alignment with client expectations and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end management of overseas projects, including planning, execution, and final acceptance
- Identify and pursue international business opportunities in chemical and membrane technology markets
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to meet project milestones, budgets, and quality benchmarks
- Build and maintain client relationships through effective communication and satisfaction-focused delivery
- Negotiate contracts, assess risks, and ensure compliance with local regulations in target regions
- Monitor project performance and implement process improvements for efficiency gains
- Act as a technical and commercial liaison between stakeholders and project teams
Required Qualifications
- Proven technical background in chemicals, membrane systems, or filtration technologies
- Extensive experience managing international or cross-border projects
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk mitigation
- Ability to translate technical requirements into commercial strategies
- Fluency in English and Arabic, with cross-cultural communication capabilities
- Understanding of local Kuwaiti regulations and international trade standards
- Demonstrated leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams
