About the Role
Avoberries AgTech, a leading agricultural technology company in Kuwait, is seeking a Precision Farming Systems Lead to drive innovation in precision agriculture. This role focuses on designing and implementing smart farming solutions to optimize yields, reduce costs, and promote sustainability for growers across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and deployment of precision farming systems, including IoT-enabled devices, data analytics, and automation platforms.
- Collaborate with agronomy, engineering, and IT teams to define requirements and deliver scalable, real-time monitoring solutions.
- Integrate sensors, drones, and IoT platforms to enable predictive analytics and compliance with sustainability and data protection standards.
- Develop digital transformation strategies for smart irrigation and crop management systems.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor teams on precision farming technologies.
- Stay updated on emerging AgTech trends and innovations in the agricultural sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in precision farming, AgTech, or digital transformation in agriculture.
- Strong knowledge of IoT platforms, data analytics, remote sensing technologies, and smart irrigation solutions.
- Experience with drones, GIS systems, and AI/machine learning applications in agriculture.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
