About the Role
This role focuses on network operations and implementation, combining 80% hands-on tasks with 20% design responsibilities. The specialist will manage maintenance, support, and optimization of campus, wireless, branch, datacenter, and WAN networks. Key duties include troubleshooting complex issues, implementing changes, and ensuring continuous network availability. Collaboration with IT teams and knowledge transfer to colleagues are also critical components of the position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide maintenance, on-site support, and L3/L1 network support across campus, wireless, branch, datacenter, and WAN networks.
- Assess and implement network change requests while administering routing and switching equipment from multiple vendors.
- Offer technical consultancy for new technologies and optimize network performance and security.
- Ensure network availability and coordinate with IT teams for service operations.
- Transfer knowledge to team members and diagnose complex networking issues.
- Build simulated networks for problem resolution and stay updated with technology trends.
