Network Assurance Analyst at Zain Kuwait

About the Role

The Network Assurance Analyst at Zain Kuwait plays a critical role in safeguarding the operator's network and operational systems. This position involves identifying risks and financial impacts related to network elements and systems, and implementing controls to mitigate these risks. The Analyst is also responsible for troubleshooting revenue programs, monitoring revenue streams, and ensuring the accuracy of billing systems to protect potential revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify risks, operational, and financial impacts related to systems and network elements, and facilitate the implementation of required controls to mitigate identified risks.
• Troubleshoot revenue programs and billing system parameters for accurate and proper billing setup and price rating accuracy.
• Carry out revenue assurance activities, including monitoring revenue streams, following up on alarms raised by the RA system, and conducting controls assurance activities.
• Assess implemented controls for efficiency and effectiveness, and develop and monitor KPIs for different core areas of revenue streams.
• Conduct reviews of revenue booking, analyze revenue and other important trends, and participate in cross-functional teams to resolve revenue assurance and network assurance issues.
• Maintain Revenue Assurance department systems, including system upgrades, software upgrades, and hardware implementation.
• Engage in Zain's general network projects and assess the impact of such projects on RA functions and end customers.
• Perform acceptance testing for new developed RA adapters, software/application releases, or upgrades to ensure functionality and adherence to Zain's standards.
• Work with vendors to implement, maintain, and enhance revenue assurance initiatives throughout the business.
• Affirm the integrity of the RA system's data and maintain the accuracy of the system's reference data.
• Monitor the daily performance and usage trends generated by the revenue assurance tool and perform cross-systems validation to assure systems synergy.
• Create, maintain, and enhance best practice standards in written evidence, analytical charts, and written reports/presentations.

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in revenue assurance systems and a strong understanding of network elements and their assurance within the telecom sector.
• Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization.
• Proven experience in network assurance and revenue assurance roles within the telecom industry.
• Familiarity with Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies and procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration and team-based problem-solving.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
