About the Role
The Draftsman will create and maintain coordinated design drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across commercial and industrial projects in Kuwait. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure all documentation meets technical standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare coordinated MEP drawings that integrate architectural, structural, and specialty systems.
- Develop detailed shop drawings, as‑built drawings, schematics, and calculation sheets for HVAC, electrical, and PLFF installations.
- Collaborate with design engineers to verify design intent and resolve any drawing conflicts.
- Maintain drawing registers and ensure all revisions are accurately tracked.
- Support site teams by providing clear, constructible documentation and answering technical queries.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering technology, or related field.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar drafting software.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing‑fire‑fighting systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, readable drawings under tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
