About the Role
Kuwait Jobs is seeking a skilled Central AC Technician to maintain and repair air conditioning systems in Salmiya. The role involves ensuring optimal performance of AC units in commercial or industrial settings, with a focus on reliability and energy efficiency. Candidates will work on-site in Shop Block 11, addressing technical issues and performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain central air conditioning systems in commercial or industrial environments.
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults in AC units, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure system longevity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with facility managers to schedule maintenance and upgrades.
- Adhere to safety protocols and local regulations during all tasks.
- Document service records and report recurring issues for systemic improvements.
- Operate specialized tools and equipment required for AC system diagnostics.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) in AC installation, repair, and maintenance, preferably in commercial settings.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and HVAC principles.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and AC-specific equipment.
- Valid safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, Kuwaiti labor standards).
- Ability to work in high-temperature environments typical of Kuwaiti summers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driving license for on-site service calls within Salmiya and surrounding areas.
