About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team in Al Kuwait. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and the integrity of financial operations. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes using accounting software to track transactions
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements and balance sheet accounts to ensure data integrity
- Assist in budget and forecast preparation with analysis to support strategic planning
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve reporting efficiency
- Support external audits by providing documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Monitor financial performance metrics, identifying trends to inform management decisions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience in Kuwait or similar market
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel for financial analysis
- Strong knowledge of Kuwaiti accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Experience with month-end closing and financial reporting processes
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
