Terms of Service

Definitions

  • Service — The JobnTop website, platform, APIs, and related tools at jobntop.com.
  • Candidate — A natural person who registers to find employment, build a CV, and be discovered by employers.
  • Employer — An organisation or individual who registers to post job listings and search for candidates.
  • Listing — Any job opportunity displayed on the Service, aggregated or directly posted.
  • Aggregated Listing — A Listing sourced by JobnTop's engine from a third-party job board.
  • Employer Job — A Listing created directly by an Employer on JobnTop.
  • AI Output — Text or structured content generated by the AI CV Builder.
  • Shortlist — The employer action that triggers disclosure of a Candidate's contact details.
  • You — The individual or entity using the Service.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Data Processing Agreement, and Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age with full legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. By using the Service you confirm you meet these requirements.

Account Types and Registration

Candidate accounts — For job seekers accessing listings, building profiles, and using the AI CV Builder.

Employer accounts — For organisations posting jobs and searching for candidates. One person may hold only one account per type. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@jobntop.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

Acceptable Use

Your use is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, incorporated by reference. You must not use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purpose.

User Content and License

By submitting content to the Service, you grant JobnTop a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, distribute, and transmit that content within the Service. You retain all intellectual property rights in your original content. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you submit.

Job Aggregation Disclaimer

Many Listings are Aggregated Listings sourced from third-party job boards:

  • JobnTop is not the employer. The recruiting employer is identified on the original source.
  • JobnTop does not verify the accuracy, completeness, or legality of Aggregated Listings.
  • Applications are made on the source platform. "Apply Now" redirects you to the original source.
  • Listings may be outdated. A listing may close on the source before we reflect that change.

JobnTop disclaims all liability for Aggregated Listing content. Report fraudulent listings to abuse@jobntop.com.

Employer Job Listings

Employers who post Employer Jobs represent and warrant that the listing is real, lawful, currently open, non-discriminatory, accurate, and does not require applicants to pay any fee. JobnTop may remove any listing that violates these warranties without prior notice.

Candidate-Employer Interactions

Profile visibility — Candidates may enable or disable discovery at any time from account settings.

PII disclosure via shortlist — Contact information is only disclosed to an Employer after a Shortlist action. Candidates control which fields are visible.

Off-platform communications — JobnTop is not a party to any negotiation or dispute between Candidates and Employers after contact details are shared.

AI Features

  • AI Outputs are suggestions only. JobnTop does not verify their accuracy or completeness. Review before relying on them.
  • You are responsible for your CV content. Inaccurate information — whether AI-generated or not — violates our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • No professional advice. AI Outputs are not career or legal advice.
  • JobnTop is not liable for harm arising from reliance on AI Output.

Fees and Payment

The Service is currently free of charge. Future paid tiers will present pricing and billing terms before any charge is made. Polar.sh acts as the merchant of record for paid transactions.

Termination

By you — Close your account at any time from account settings.

By JobnTop — We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, fraudulent behaviour, legal requirement, or creation of legal risk, without prior notice.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. JobnTop does not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JobnTop's total liability shall not exceed the greater of: (a) fees paid in the preceding 12 months; or (b) US$100. JobnTop is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JobnTop from claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your User Content, your violation of any law or third-party right, or any misrepresentation you make.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuwait.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes trigger a re-acceptance modal for signed-in users. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. These Terms together with our linked policies form the entire agreement between you and JobnTop.
