Acceptable Use Policy

Spirit of This Policy
JobnTop exists to help people find meaningful work and to help organisations find qualified talent. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the conduct required to keep the platform safe, honest, and useful for everyone. It is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service.
General Prohibitions
Regardless of account type, you must not use the Service to:
- Engage in any activity that violates applicable law.
- Harass, threaten, defame, abuse, stalk, or intimidate any person.
- Impersonate any individual, company, or entity.
- Distribute spam, unsolicited commercial communications, or chain messages.
- Upload or link to malware, viruses, or harmful code.
- Circumvent any security control, authentication mechanism, or access restriction.
- Scrape or extract data through automated means without prior written authorisation.
- Reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
- Abuse rate limits or attempt any denial-of-service attack.
- Facilitate a third party in violating this AUP.
For Candidates: Profile Standards
Your profile represents you to potential employers. You must ensure:
- All information is truthful and accurate. Inflating credentials, fabricating positions, or misrepresenting qualifications is strictly prohibited.
- Your headline and summary are professional and honest. No offensive, discriminatory, or misleading content.
- Your profile photo (if uploaded) is a genuine likeness of you. Do not use another person's image or an AI-generated image presented as real.
- AI CV Builder outputs are reviewed before submission. You are responsible for the accuracy of your CV content regardless of whether it was AI-generated.
- Your contact details are genuine. Do not use disposable addresses to evade moderation.
For Employers: Job Posting Standards
When posting Employer Jobs, you must ensure:
- The job opportunity is real and currently open. Do not post positions you have no intention of filling.
- The listing is accurate. Titles, descriptions, requirements, and salary ranges must not be materially misleading.
- The listing is lawful and non-discriminatory. Listings must comply with all applicable employment and anti-discrimination law.
- Applicants are never charged fees. Any listing that requires applicants to pay money as a condition of application or employment is prohibited.
- The listing is not a data-harvesting vehicle. Do not use fake listings to collect candidate data for non-recruitment purposes.
For Employers: Shortlist and Contact Standards
When you shortlist a candidate and gain access to their contact information:
- Use contact data only for legitimate hiring consideration. Candidate PII must not be used for any purpose other than evaluating the candidate for the shortlisted role.
- Do not resell or transfer candidate PII to third parties.
- Do not spam candidates. Contact must be professional, relevant, and limited to the hiring process.
- Do not harvest data for off-platform use. Do not aggregate candidate contact data for marketing lists or any non-recruitment purpose.
- Respect data subject rights. If a candidate requests deletion or cessation of use of their data, comply under applicable data protection law.
- Comply with all applicable data protection law, including the Kuwait Personal Data Protection Law and GDPR where applicable.
Reporting Violations
To report content or behaviour that appears to violate this AUP:

Include the relevant profile URL, listing URL, or description of the behaviour.
Enforcement
- Warning — Written warning and required removal of offending content.
- Content removal — We may remove violating content at any time.
- Temporary suspension — For repeated or more serious violations.
- Permanent termination — For severe violations (fraud, data harvesting, harassment, illegal activity).
- Legal referral — Criminal activity may be referred to law enforcement in Kuwait or other jurisdictions.

JobnTop's Right to Modify or Remove Content
JobnTop may remove, edit, or disable access to any content at any time for any reason, including content that violates this AUP, applicable law, or the rights of any third party.
No Waiver
A failure by JobnTop to enforce any provision of this AUP in a particular instance does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it in future.
